Lewis specialises in data cleaning, processing, analysis, and visualisation through multiple coding languages such as R, Python and VBA. Much of this expertise was gained from his degree in BSc Geography from the University of Bristol, and he has honed his skills since joining Aether. Lewis uses his diverse programming knowledge to help automate internal processes and build efficient, robust tools for external clientele. He also has increasing experience with greenhouse gas and air quality emissions inventory compilation and review through involvement in domestic and overseas projects.

Lewis has supported a wide range of project work which includes:

Analysing and producing insights from on-board train monitoring data for the rail industry.
Processing and collating net-zero greenhouse gas emissions reporting data for the Welsh Government.
Calculating and compiling emissions from the road transport sector for the latest UAE air quality inventory.
Developing a tool to automate and expedite dispersion modelling processes for Air Quality Assessments.

Outside of work, Lewis is an avid football fan, both playing and watching. He also loves playing board games with friends and has a growing collection himself. Music is another big interest – he enjoys attending gigs or karaoke.
