Project win: Technical assistance to the Irish EPA

18 October 2010

Aether has been contracted by the Irish EPA to provide technical assistance to support the National Inventory Agency of the Office of Climate Licensing and Resource Use. The work will require working in Ireland with the EPA to prepare inventories of greenhouse gases and air pollutants, to identify and conduct emission inventory improvements, to conduct key category analysis, prepare emission inventory uncertainty analysis and to prepare the national inventory report and trend analysis.

This work is required for the annual round of reporting obligations, which requires air pollutants to be reported to the Secretariat of the Convention of Long Range Transboundary Air Pollution by the 15th February and for greenhouse gases to be reported to the Secretariat of the Framework Convention on Climate Change by the 15th of April.
