Project win: Industrial AQ assessment

Aether has been commissioned to undertake an air quality assessment for a proposed energy centre at a holiday village in the east of England. The energy centre will comprise of CHP, gas and biomass boilers. The purpose of the assessment is to ascertain the optimum height of the flues in order to ensure adequate dispersal of pollutants, so that the air quality objectives are met. The project will use the dispersion model AERMOD to assess the resulting nitrogen dioxide and particulate matter concentrations in the local vicinity.
